Development of cell phones:History 3

In 1973 AD - Dr Martin Cooper, is considered the creator of the first portable handset device (cell phone). Dr. Cooper, ex- general manager for the systems division at Motorola, and the foremost person to make a call on a handy cellular phone (cell phone). And in the same year Dr. Cooper placed a base station in New York with the first functioning model of a cellular telephone (cell phone) which model named as the Motorola Dyna-Tac. Dr. martin Cooper and Motorola took the newly made model which is prototype phone technology to New York to demonstrate the public about its function.

In the year 1977 AD- cell phones go public for demonstration. Public are taken for cell phones testing operation. The first city where first experiment begins is Chicago where 2000 customers as well as ultimately other cell phones trials appeared in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore region. Japan also started testing cell phones service in 1979 AD.

And in the year 1988AD – There is huge changed of the technologies that had become typical in the past days. The Cellular Technology Industry Association (CTIA) was established to set down practical objectives for cellular phone(cell phone) distributers. Which included research on new applications for development on cell phone? A new standard was sited with the design of the TDMA Interim Standard 54, in 1991 by the Tele-communications Industry Association?
